Return & Refund Policy
At MEGA-doc, we aim to make the return process clear and straightforward.
Right of Withdrawal
If you are a consumer located in the European Union, you generally have the right to withdraw from your online purchase within 14 days of receiving your order, without giving a reason, unless a legal exception applies.
To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform MEGA-doc of your decision to return the order within this 14-day period.
Requesting a Return
To request a return, please contact MEGA-doc by email and provide your order details.
Once your return request has been processed, MEGA-doc will provide you with return instructions and a shipping label.
Please do not send products back without first requesting a return from MEGA-doc.
Returning Your Order
After informing MEGA-doc that you wish to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must return the goods within 14 days.
Products should be returned in appropriate condition and securely packaged.
You may inspect or handle the product only to the extent reasonably necessary to determine its nature, characteristics and functioning. If the product has been handled beyond what is necessary for this purpose, MEGA-doc may reduce the refund to reflect any resulting loss in value, where permitted by applicable law.
Return Shipping Costs
The customer is responsible for the direct cost of returning the goods, provided that the customer was informed of this responsibility before placing the order.
You do not need to purchase a return shipping label yourself. MEGA-doc will provide the return shipping label.
The cost of the return shipment will be deducted from the amount refunded to you.
The applicable return shipping cost will be communicated as part of the return process where appropriate.
Refunds
When you validly exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, MEGA-doc will refund the payments received from you for the returned goods.
MEGA-doc will also refund the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for your original order.
If you selected a delivery method that was more expensive than our least expensive standard delivery option, such as express or premium delivery, the additional delivery cost will not be refunded.
The cost of the return shipment using the MEGA-doc return label will be deducted from the refundable amount.
Refunds will normally be processed within 14 days after MEGA-doc has been informed of your decision to withdraw. MEGA-doc may, where permitted by law, withhold the refund until the returned goods have been received or until you provide evidence that the goods have been sent back, whichever occurs first.
Refunds will normally be made using the same payment method used for the original purchase, unless otherwise agreed.
Defective, Damaged or Incorrect Products
The return shipping rules above for ordinary returns do not affect your legal rights regarding defective, damaged, incorrect or non-conforming products.
If you receive a product that is defective, damaged, incorrect or does not conform to your order, please contact MEGA-doc as soon as possible.
Where the legal guarantee or other mandatory consumer protection rules apply, MEGA-doc will handle the return, repair, replacement or refund in accordance with applicable law. Customers will not be charged return shipping costs where MEGA-doc is legally responsible for the return.
Exceptions to the Right of Withdrawal
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain products or circumstances where an exception is provided by applicable law.
Where an exception applies, this will be communicated where required before the purchase is completed.
Model Withdrawal Form
Consumers may also exercise their right of withdrawal by using the applicable statutory model withdrawal form. Use of the model form is not mandatory; you may also contact MEGA-doc directly by email to clearly communicate your decision to withdraw from the purchase.
Mandatory Consumer Rights
Nothing in this Return & Refund Policy is intended to limit or exclude any mandatory rights you may have under Belgian or European Union consumer protection law.
If any provision of this policy conflicts with mandatory applicable consumer law, the applicable consumer law will take precedence.
